Treated bednet material (9)
---------------------------
Subject: AFRO-NETS> Treated bednet material (7)
incidence; if pesticides are not carcinogenic or bad-smelling to us-
ers; and if their introduction won't generate pesticide-resistant
mosquitoes, perhaps it would be appropriate to legislate adding in-
secticides to bednets, at least those sold in highly malarious
re-gions?
This is for our colleague in Indiana: I believe that the recent research in Ghana and Gambia showed that adverse reactions to the smell of impregnated bednets is short lived and is not an important consideration due to the capacity of people to adapt to it. I would appreciate others knowing who concur or disagree with this observation. I would like to organize this area of the literature.
