E-drug: Course: Managing Drug Supply for Primary Health Care

Management Sciences for Health, the International Dispensary Association,
and the World Health Organization are pleased to announce the 2002 Managing
Drug Supply for Primary Health Care course, to be held 16 - 27 September
2002 in Egmond, The Netherlands.

OVERVIEW:�� This course exposes participants to modern management principles
of drug supply systems and teaches how to apply them. Decision-makers and
managers in essential drugs programs will lean how to use practical tools to
improve their performance. The course is highly participatory, allowing
participants the opportunity to learn about drug supply systems in other
settings through the interchange of ideas and experiences. A distinguished
faculty is recruited from Management Sciences for Health, the International
Dispensary Association, the World Health Organization and other invited
guests with extensive international experience in essential drugs program
management.

technical assistance professionals from Ministries of Health,
non-governmental organizations, and donor agencies.

FEES and DEADLINE: Fee: US$ $4,100. The fee includes transfer to and from
the airport, hotel accommodation (single occupancy), three meals a day
during the week and breakfast during the weekend, coffee and tea breaks,
tuition, and course materials. Airfare, visas and health insurance are the
responsibility of the sponsoring organization. Deadline for confirmation of
